Got the nasty carpet taken out (basically I think all carpet is nasty), along with these weird boxy things that were concealing this pipe/vent/wire stuff in the back room. Now the pipe/vent/wire stuff is exposed, but it gives us more floor space. Every inch counts! We put down sticky vinyl flooring, looks good!

So our plan is to head up to Mom and Dad's place this weekend, and finish everything "vital" that needs to be done before we move in...hoping we can get all that taken care of, drive this giant back to our house, and start moving in!
