Here we go...

Welp, here we go! We really love roadtrips and camping, and always thought that living in an rv and taking your time moving place to place would be an amazing way to see the country. In 2010 we built a teardrop trailer with a lot of help from family and friends. Without much planning, we took a whirlwind trip out West, following rt. 66 much of the way, then swinging north to visit Yosemite, and looped back homeward. We lived on the road in a glorified shoebox for 2 weeks and loved it! After carrying only what we needed to comfortably survive, we came back and just didn't know what to do with all of this space and stuff in our home. We realized that this would be entirely doable for us and started saving up for our big adventure.

So here we are, we just put a deposit on the first RV we looked at. It sounds crazy, but we have done a lot of research over the last year. The rv was exactly what we were looking for and the price was right. We have so much to do before we're on the road, but we're hoping to get moving next September. It will be really hard to leave our little city, but we have a dream to follow! I'm definitely scared, but we'd rather try and fail than wonder about it the rest of our lives. I keep telling myself that if your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough.
